James is a Cornish cinematographer based in London who works internationally on narrative feature films, documentaries, commercials and music videos. He has recently been nominated for Best Cinematography at the Greece International Film Festival for the feature film The EYE, he has also photographed multiple films that have been nominated and win at BAFTA and OSCAR qualifying festivals around the world. In 2022, James shot the feature film Satu entirely on location in Laos using super 16mm film. In the same year he also shot the feature film The Eye, a thriller set in Greece with one of India’s biggest stars, Shruti Haasan. James is also a skateboarder, drummer and a PADI certified diver.
